There is an easier solution,
I Just unscrewed the barrel from the bridge, a little bit, just to be away from the clips and that's it all.
There is another upgrade you can do for X axis. You will notice that the X axis is limited by the dual head BIG size. You can devastate the dual head steel ...

Re: Dual Head mount extruder on the extruder support
I think that you have to fix the X axis plate first.
Then fix the the support plate for the extruder.
Finally, fix the extruder, to the support plate. In my case, as it was too close to the x axis plate, I fixed it to the second hole (there are three holes to choose).
Of course, there is an ...

Re: Latest Marlin-1.1.0-RC8 For GEEETECH Prusa I3 Dual Extru
I found that from time to time, printer could trip due to temperature protection.
New firmware have a new protection that takes care temperature diferencies between set point and feedback.
I attached some corrections to avoid trip due to its feature.

DualE PI3 proC - Printing Speed limited to 40mm/sec
I noticed that my maximum printer speed is about 30 to 40mm/sec, with PLA.
If I try to speed up, the stepper motor get's hard till it stuck. It seems that the heater is not able to handle speeds higher than 40mm/sec for PLA.
I have some friends with a variety of printers, mostly with "all metal ...

Re: GT2560 3 transistors are overheating - almost burn
In fact, I have to correct the 1st post, there is only one transistor that is almost burning, the others are hot but not so much.
This is the one that heats the heat bed, the third counting from the left to the right in the picture. This transistor is really hot.

GT2560 3 transistors are overheating - almost burn
There are three transistors in the GT2560 that are really hot, probably more than 100°C. If I touched them with wet fingers, it is possible to observe boiling water.
I'm pretty sure that the life of the transistors operating at this temperature will be very short...

Dual extruder Print I3 PRO C Printing Setup
Hello All,
I'm having problems to setup the dual extruder printing. I followed the procedure as per Geeetech WIKI and doesn't work.
I found that setting up the offsets in Slic3r makes that Slic3r calculation try to avoid object interference and by the end, the slice by Slic3r piece calculation is ...

Re: How do you level the dual extruders & bed, i3 PRO C
Hi Pekote,
PS: Best thing i have bought is Buildtak, i recommend you get some. I now know that i was printing the first layer to low to get it to stick to the glass. As you can move the extruders high with buildtak and it still stick no problems. To low and its crazy hard to remove it from the ...

Re: How do you level the dual extruders & bed, i3 PRO C
Hello Ritzy,
I managed to set both extruders to almost the exact the same level in one attempt. I was probably lucky!!
My procedure was:
1) I leveled the bed with one extruder, and my printer was able to print fine with one extruder.
2) First BIG adjustment was to level both extruders from the ...
