I was sent a link to a page with wrong firmware to up load ( bootlader ) and now have LCD of small Squares and since then have tried to up load the 1.0.3 version of the Rostock.bin file several times now and still have a pile of fancy stuff
Also got sent to the STM-Link place and that program did ...

By the way your file for the Geeetech I3 Pro C file had problems you should fix before adding it to the web for down loading . .
In the Configuration.h file . . You have the "Y" Axis set TRUE in one spot and FALSE in the other made the Y Axis lock up . . You need to fix that before turning it loose ...

Finally got it installed but had to install FTDI thing in bleeping windows crap to get it to see the connection. . In Linux the connection was there Just Arduino IDE was just not wanting to talk to the 3D Printer via connection !

Never mind got the FTDI stuff installed which was not in the install part of the link sent before GEEZ windows is a major pain in the ass to use and you wonder why Linux is preferred . .

Okay only thing is Com 26 is not on the list of ports only goes to Com 9 and . . Now says it can not send the file to the 3D printer says port is not there to talk to

That is in the marlin folder under configuration.h and the marlin.ino files there are 4 places to change and reload to the printer and then shut off both printer and Ardiuno IDE and re start the printer connect to it via what ever program you use to do the printing with . . My Extruder Holder cracked along the filaments between the holes . . I was wondering why I had to keep tightening the 2 4 mm screws which hold it to the "X" Axis . .

LOL quit using windows . . I did it via Linux connects via /dev/ttyUSB0 no serial port stuff needed . . Try Ubuntu 15.10 for a O/S that does not have viru's, bots, or malware like windows does . . ( Linux much safer and better )
