I have been printing approx.9mnths with geetech Aluminium and the results are OK , the problem has just started happening. During a print the screen changes to a load of symbols and other rubbish, the print continues without any filament feed,
hence a ruined print , is this fixable or is it in the ...

Hi Mark,
Thanks again for your help again but, when I hit pause it does stop but over the part, it does not zero on X which is what I want, I am printing from a SD card at the moment ,does that make the difference ?

pausing print
I would like to stop the printing when doing a long print ie 1 hr or more to clean the nozzle . I want to pause the print move the x axis to home whilst leaving "y " and "Z " where they are , then hit resume and continue . I have worked out that I can add instructions to the G -code but am not sure ...
