Re: Replacement fuse for GT2560
According to Geeetech tech support, the part number is SMT 5*10,0154010.DRT,10A/125V. This Littelfuse part includes the fuse holder which is not needed. Also, the T indicates a time lag/slo-blo type fuse. According to the Littelfuse catalog, the time lag variety only goes up to 7A and the 10A one is ...

Replacement fuse for GT2560
Argh! I plugged in my new 8825 drivers and blew the 10A fuse on the GT2560 of my G2s. I think there might have been a loose wire that shorted something on the board but I won't know for sure until I replace the fuse and try again.

Re: GT2560 board Rev A4 / BL touch / Servo pins
Look for the 3D Touch manual on this site or on the product page. It has notes for using those extra 3 pins. I suspect it will work for the BL Touch as well.

3DTouch on G2s Pro
Back in September, Geeetech posted an answer on the 3DTouch sensor product page that they would be updating the product manual soon with instructions for getting it working on a G2s Pro. I have one coming and I think I'll be able to get it working but it would probably be easier with specific ...

Hot end upgrade for G2s Pro?
I am looking into upgrading the dual hot end of my G2s Pro. Is this hot end compatible with my printer and better than the standard one shipped with it? http://www.geeetech.com/wiki/index.php/ ... ad_Hot_End
Thanks, Dave

Re: Firmware for geeetech 3D printers
As I have said in several posts, I converted my M301 to a G2s Pro with a GT2560 control board. I loaded the firmware version recommended by Geeetech (RKMB_GT2560_G2S in this forum and had all kinds of issues with esteps/mm being way off, the temperature being too low, and other problems. Finally, I ...

Re: Extrusion stepper way off
Success!! It turns out the firmware recommended by Geeetech just does not work with the G2s Pro. I downloaded the Marlin 1.10RC3 branch for the printer and configured it the same way and it works great! The extruder esteps are right on the money at the nominal setting and the temperature is much ...

Re: Extrusion stepper way off
I have been having some success working around the problems I reported with my converted G2s. I raised the esteps/mm from the nominal 93 to 250 to get the right extrusion length. I upped the extrusion multiplier to 1.3. And I raised the temperature to 215 and 265 for PLA and ABS respectively. On the ...

Re: Settings and Control windows are too small
I was able to connect to my G2s and control a few things using Parallels on my Mac. That is a good sign. However, I'm coming across many more windows that are cut off at the bottom so it is not worth going any further for now.
