I had a little problem with my damn 1$ fan ! ☹
One badly welded wire came off and caused a short circuit.
The MOSFET on the GT2560 has had a nasty heat stroke and it behaves differently now:

here is a way to connect a 2 wires fan to the PWM-FAN connector of the GT2560.
Note : my fan is a brushless DC 12v 0.15A, a very common one.
