Measured the voltage across the potentiometer and gnd on stepper driver and that’s dropping by 0.002v as the heater comes on. Is that normal?

Thanks got it working and had a few prints going but then noticed extruder motor was dropping steps and looks like it was too low to the bed.. re-calibrated several times. Then did several G29's in succession without changing anything. The Z readings were +- .3 mm each read so no wonder some ...

If you’ve got the 2560 rev A+ board there 3 pins below the thermistor ports. There was no need to mod the board it if the A+. This is where the three wires should be connected. Then my probe started to respond to commands. Still not got it working though. The probe point doesn’t seem long enough.
