Hi,
I've made lots of changes to the firmware and somewhere along the way I played with DEFAULT_AXIS_STEPS_PER_UNIT in Configuration.h. My understanding is that these values can be calculated from the number of teeth on the drive gears of each motor, but I have no idea how many teeth are on the ...

Plastic Jams in Hotend
Hi. My printer used to work fine. Now when I try to print the extruder jams. It will print fine for the first couple layers then the flow of plastic stops. I can see that the extruder is still running (the gear is turning) but no plastic is coming out of the nozzle... Then I clean the nozzle out ...

Re: New GT2560 v3 Motherboard - Motors and Hotbed Dont Work
It was the stepper drivers. I replaced them with DRV8825 and modified the firmware for 1/32 stepping. Works great now! Sorry I blamed the motherboard. I have to say, at the price point for the GT2560 v3 you can't beat the features.

Re: New GT2560 v3 Motherboard - Motors and Hotbed Dont Work
I have 24v for Vmot on all drives. The Vcc is 5v for all drives. Is it possible I fried all my drives when the USB port on my last card died? I ordered brand new DRV8825 stepper motor drives which should arrive tomorrow. I also ordered a breadboard kit so I can test the A4988 drives that came with ...

Re: A10 Motherboard Upgrade
I'm a software developer of 25 years, so I'm not scared by the firmware. Any recommendations about a GREAT replacement board? I was hoping to find a board that wouldn't require me to completely rewire my printer (probably not an option),
Thanks for your time,
Eliot

A10 Motherboard Upgrade
Are there any motherboards that are more or less drop in compatible with the GT2560 v3? I've gone through 3 gt2560 v3 boards all of which were either DOA or died after very minimal use. The quality control of these boards seems to be very bad. Has anyone successfully upgraded their motherboard to ...

New GT2560 v3 Motherboard - Motors and Hotbed Dont Work
Hello World,
I just replaced the motherboard in my Geeetech A10 for the third time (first was DOA, second the usb stopped working after a month).
I can't get the machine to Home. None of the motors for the XYZ axis seem to work. The extruder heats up, and the LCD works, and I can read the SD card ...

Re: Marlin 1.1.9 for new A10 edition with BLtouch and filament runout detection
I tried this firmware but my filament sensor doesn't work. I can't print because the machine thinks there is no filament in the sensor even when there is. Could this be a bad pin configuration for the sensor in the firmware? Otherwise the firmware is awesome - bltouch works flawlessly.
