Hi William
I have made the changes you suggest but unfortunately the output is the same .. in fact there is now a little stringy substance between the letters.

gaps in extrusion
Hi
I'm pretty new to 3d printing and wonder if the answer to one of you guys is obvious.
I'm running a Geetech I3 PRO B with 1.75 PLA. When printing a smallish key ring item with text, the print leaves gaps around the text - not sure why. Any ideas on how to avoid this? See pic

Re: Quality changes with height of print
Thanks for your suggestions Kaktus, I will try them.
However, I probably wont try to print the tower again because it took seven hours last time. I think I will try a different approach where the tower is printed in sections.
thanks for your help

Re: Quality changes with height of print
Hi Kaktus
It's 1.75mm PLA from Sunlu
Yes I'm disappointed it didn't print well. Someone gave me the printer and its the first time I've tried printing something this tall.
the tower is from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3333718

Quality changes with height of print
Hi... I'm pretty new to 3d printing but have had quite a few success but today hit a new problem. I have tried to print a dice tower which is just below maximum possible with my I3 Pro B. Took 7 hours. The bottom/first couple of inches were fine but from then on the quality of print deteriated ...
