We have a number of Geeetech printers in our print lab. We had to make a move while one of the A10 printers was undergoing maintenance and the screws used to mount the fan to the ventilation housing on the A10 were lost.
Going by our other A10's and A20's, The screws appear to be 2 different ...

Re: Cannot Connect Apps via USB to A10
Aside from the shape, which appears to be a ch340, there are no discernable markings with which to determine the chip. So, I am only guessing that it's a ch340.
The computer beeps when connected to the A10; but, tells me the drivers are not working.

Re: 3DTouch - Solid Light or Blink While Printing
Thanks, William. I will try that this evening.
But, that brings up another problem. I have never been able to connect any of my A10 printers to EasyPrint or Repetier Host no matter what driver I've tried. I can, however, just create a .gcode file with the commands.

Re: 3DTouch - Solid Light or Blink While Printing
UPDATE: One Printer now keeps light on 3DTouch Continuously
I jostled the connectors and now one of the A10 printers manages to keep the 3DTouch light on continuously.
Doing the same thing to the second printer saw no change in the blinking behaviour. Does the blinking indicate a problem or ...

3DTouch - Solid Light or Blink While Printing
I need to know if the 3DTouch light should be on continuously or blinking while printing.
Mine blinks and I have had a variety of print failures that possibly related to bad wiring connections. I have replaced the first 2D =Touch and still see issues.
Thanks

Cannot Connect Apps via USB to A10
I have downloaded what I think are the correct drivers for my A10 with GT2560 V3.0. There is no writing that I can discern on the chip. But, here is an image that shows the board that is in my A10.

Re: What do you think about Geeetech's printers?
We just finished a class for our teachers to introduce the Geeetech A10 & A20. In all we have built 3 A10 printers and 1 A20 so far and have 4 more (Two A10 and two A20) to build in the next few weeks at various sites.

I don't believe that they can come in preassigned, unless it is support material.
I'll try some other shapes.

When buying a new Geeetch (or other) 3D Printer
At YouthQuest Foundation, we have built 4 Geeetech i3 style 3D printers so far. In addition, we have optimized other brands of the same style printer.
