I don't know if anyone has had a similar problem, but my A10 printer's Z axis was OK, but suddenly it would not go down low enough to the bed!
I have a 3D Touch connected, and this is working OK.

I have a A20, and am using Repetier Host, and am also new to £D printing. but after installing BL Touch, I got a similar message.
As you have probably realised, if you ignore the message, just press continue, and the printer works fine.
