Hi guys,
After upgrading to windows 10 I have had the issue below. I'm not saying Windows 10 is the issue I'm just giving out as much info as I can.
I have a geeetech Rambo 1.2g which works fine with my 3dprinter using a sdcard but I cannot connect to it via USB.
I have installed the drivers and the board shows up as a Arduino Mega 2560 in the device manager. I use simplify3d and that detects the port being used with no issues. S3d also changes port numbers If I change the port number in the device manager.
The Arduino software also reports the Serial Number of the 2560 on request
I have tried:
Changing usb ports, both usb 2 and 3
Changing baud rates
Tried different com ports
Different usb cables.
Tried resetting the board
What am I missing?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Connection to board
Any other options?
How do I know which chipset the board uses? the writing on the chips is so dull i can't read them.
Where is the usb chip located?
thanks

Re: Connection to board
Hi
Why do I need to remove the board? there are no chips on the back of the board.
I can see the chips just not read them.
This is the board
