Problem reading temperature Rambo Board

Post by daxer70 »

Hi again…

some months ago I bought a Rambo Board 1.2

I've just mounted the rambo board and there is a problem temperature reading. I've attached a standard epcos 100k thermistor and the board isn't reading the values (I got always 0). The thermistor is working, tested it on a RAMPS.

I'm us gin latest Marlin firmware

I've tried using T1 connector but had the same problem. Can you help me ?

thanks

Hi daxer70

The rambo board thermistor wiring method was: Extruder connect T0,hot bed connect T2;
Temperature is normal, the board can be heated.you can try it again.
Any more question are welcomed.
Best regards.

Hi

I connected thermistor hot end to T0 and when I switch on the board I get an ERRMIN temperature error.
Looking on repetier host the temperature is zero.

The same hot end thermistor connected to a ramps return 25 degrees
So I think that there something wrong with the board.

What should I check?

May be, a diode D1 problem may cause this problem ? In rambo board schematics I couldn't find that diode.

You can try to put the T0 short circuit use wire,
If return max degrees, That's means T0 normal.

yes short-circuiting I get max Temp. the thermistor is working I've tested it with a multimeter and I get a value of 93K (it is a 100k Epcos thermistor) and I put it on a RAMPS board and the thermistor is reading the correct temperature…

Yes,The thermistor was ok. Resistance value and temperature are related.
I saw you describe the board is missing a diode D1,Is missing when you received the board,
There are other obvious missing parts? I guess is it possible to caused by external forces.

I have seen you send pictures carefully, the board is complete, no missing parts.
and short-circuiting T0 you get max Temp,That's means T0 normal.
I think maybe a thermistor and firmware does not match.
Can you tell me your thermistor type and firmware source you use?
