MAXTEMP triggered

Post by cwodo »

Hi everybody
I've bought a Geeetech Premium Prusa i3 Kit but on display appears this message : "MAXTEMP triggered !
Error: Printer stopped due to errors. Fix the error and use M999 to restart!. (Temperature is reset. Set it before restarting)" . I have a mac and I've installed Repetier-host and the usb serial driver.. The connection button shows that the printer is connected so i'ts very strange ! Someone can help me?
Thank you very much and sorry for my English ;)

Is the LCD displaying "max temp" error? If so , please check if somewhere of thermistor is touched. The LCD will display "max temp" error when there is short circuit on thermistor.

Hi Everyone,

We have the same problem here with our prusa :

but with no temp message on the LCD screen.

How do we solve this ?

Thanks,

you need to solve the display problem of your LCD first, check this link here:
http://www.geeetech.com/forum/viewtopic ... 13&t=17040
And then check the TEMP error here:
