Hello,
I have a Geeetech i3 pro b, and the X and Y axes are not perpendicular.
I was not successful in correcting it mechanically, because the Geometry (basically parallelograms) is not very suitable for angle corrections.
Before I start drilling and sawing: how do you effectively calibrate the XY angle?
Also, I was not successful in finding software-based calibrations (like with the Original Prusa i3 mk2). Is there a possibility in Marlin?
XY axis angle calibration?
Re: XY axis angle calibration?
Hi,could you show some pictures or videos about the X,Y axis?It will more helpful for me to understand.
-Keep your mind and try to test it.
-Everything will be fun!-Support all Getech printer.
-You can ask me the questions and I will kindly reply.
-Respect others is the best way you can get help!

Re: XY axis angle calibration?
Same thing here , i buy i3 pro b and if i print square became parallelogram (about 1mm every 10cm).
there is no way to correct mechanically i think to print a front support with smooth rod holes shifted to compensate this angle.

Re: XY axis angle calibration?
Hi,
I have the same problem -> 2.5mm every 150mm ... I have no idea how to fix the problem on my hardware.
Yesterday I wrote a little java programm, that correct the y-values in my exported stl-files.
With this workarround I can get acceptable prints.
The programm determines the lowest x-value in the stl-file and calculate for every vertex in relation to the lowest x-value an y-offset.
If you need. I could provide the code.

Re: XY axis angle calibration?
Gentlemen, did any of you try to correct the number of steps for 1mm stepper motor?
After all, this is the basic calibration of the printer.
