I have the driver but when I try to connect this is what I get.

and this is what the printer setttings are.

So I am still unable to connect to the printer.

Can you see 2560 installed in Device manager?

Try Baud rate 115200.

still no luck. what does the baud rate of the port need to be? It comes up as 9600. that was unsuccessful so I tried changing to 11500 also with no luck.

Do you have other computer? Try to upload under Windows 7.

Can you see COM port in Device manager? Is it COM3 or others?
