But it's hard to figuire out what is abnormal without multimeter.
And you should tell me how you mount the mainboard.

The direction is with the blue terminals and power supply to the right\front of the board.
still cannot find my multi meter,

The hot bed seems not so good, it should be 1.2 ohm. Lower resistance will lead to higher current, which will burn the MOSFET.
Disconnect the heating wires of hot bed, check if other function of printer is fine.

Did some more digging and it seems that there is a bug in the board. If you run the usb as well as 12 main power the mosfet can overheat as is the case here.
Are you aware of this?

Did just that. all seems to be working fine and moving fine with the hotbed disconnected. How do we go about to fix the Mosfet and the resistance?

You can replace a new Mosfet yourself if you can. As for the hot bed, 1 ohm is not enough, so please contact the customer service to get a new one.

Good stuff, I can replace the mosfet, that should be easy and will order a new hot bed. I'll push then for a replacement controller board as well as it was caused by the hot bed.

Is there a better controller board I can buy to replace the RepRap Sanguinololu Rev 1.3a board
