I have the same problem with both, and have swapped X axis with the Extruder then the motors works fine. But when i put them back they do not work.
My Order Number: 67799702262444 and i have a white GT2560 board Rev A.
I have tried upgrading the firmware but it must not be correctly done because nothing works now and is giving a constant tone.
So can you email the correct firmware please?

maybe you do not burn the firmware successfully,please reburn the firmware and tell me the result.

Dual Extruder Double Heads Reprap 3D Printer Prusa I3 and i have a white GT2560 board Rev A.
I have loaded the firmware several times already.

I am having similar problems with my new printer as well. The motor on the extruder will turn for a few seconds and then start making a very loud beeping noise and stop turning. I have a I3 pro C Dual extruder with a GT2560.

Did you check the adjust screw ? Maybe it is too tight for the motor to turning.
