This is where it is ambiguous. There are a lot of files and folders in the Marlin-marlin_v1 folder (the one that is linked for the firmware). I see only 1 folder called Sanguino (in the path Marlin-Marlin_v1\ArduinoAddons\Arduino_1.x.x\hardware\Sanguino). Inside this folder is bootloaders, cores, variants (no files except 1 text file). Inside these are more folders and in cores\arduino\ are source code files that I think are for the firmware. Dragging these into the Arduino tool doesn't let me compile. Please list out step by step the directions for loading, compiling and uploading the firmware to this board. I am really not understanding what I need to do here.

Firmware is a folder independent from Arduino IDE. The folder in Arduino IDE named "sanguino" is not firmware.
I think you actually don't have the firmware. Please tell me your email address, let me send you a real firmware.

I managed to install the firmware. Yes I had the correct firmware, but i needed to set the motherboard type in configuration.h to the sanguino. There is a problem, however, with the extruder on mine and it needs replacing. I only found this out after installing the firmware. The hot end is reporting MAXTEMP all the time. I have the cable plugged up to the proper connector on the Sanguino but upon inspecting the hot end to see why, I found that the bolt that goes into the hot end (that has a hole in it for the filament) is broken and came that way from Geeetech. It appears that the hot end was attempted to be screwed into the extruder and was over-torqued and snapped. The hot end was only being held in by 1 thread and the broken piece was still inside the extruder. I need a replacement for this, how can I get one sent?

I am sorry for your trouble. Could you please send me a picture of the broken part that you describe?
