				If I'm not using the lead screws you provided (they were both bent so i bought different ones) will this still work
(note: I adjusted the Z axis steps/mm for the screws I have)
#define DEFAULT_AXIS_STEPS_PER_UNIT   {78.74,78.74,1600,95}
or do I need to tell the firmware that the screws have a 2mm pitch -
#define DEFAULT_AXIS_STEPS_PER_UNIT   {78.74,78.74,1600/2,95}

What you exactly mean by saying this?
The lead screws?You mean the threaded rods?Are the ones the same as ours?Could you take a picture of them?

				The rods that came in the kit were both slightly bent. Rather than try to straighten those out I bought new ones that are a different pitch.
I accounted for the change of rods in the steps/mm setting, although since I can't upload firmware successfully I can't change any other parameters.
The screw you shipped is on the right. The screw I replaced it with is the larger pitch

Lead Screw Diameter: 8mm
Screw Pitch: 2mm
Lead: 8mm
Lead Screw Length: 300mm
I've mentioned this previously.

				I just put the screws provided in the kit back on, the problem is still there.

				I uncommented both settings as described, it didn't help

				Ok, so I've been talking to the seller, they sent me a new GT2560.
Good news, that fixed the problem with the Z axis
Bad news, now neither extruder moves.
The seller sent me back to you to figure out why that's happening
When I check the voltage across the stepper drivers they're showing 12v. What should the voltage be?

Hi,
You mean the voltage of which two pins?
