Re: Firmware for geeetech 3D printers
Hello I'm new to 3d printing. I have assembled muy geeetech I3 Pro and it is printing fairly ok. I wish to add the 3dtouch auto level prope, but I have no idea on how to use arduino to change firmware. I quickly ran into problems when trying to define my board a gt2560, I now think that i need to define it as a ultimaker.

Re: Firmware for geeetech 3D printers
Hi, trying to upgrade my firmware (new i3 A Pro). Can't determine which one I should download
4) For prusa I3 A Pro with the 3-in-1 3D printer control box:
PI3A Pro.zip
prusa I3 A Pro
(375.46 KiB) Downloaded 2851 times
for the upgraded kit using lead screw:
PI3A Pro(for the upgraded kit using lead screw).zip
(375.46 KiB) Downloaded 1465 times
It's new, I don't know if it has the "lead screw" or not. Can someone describe it to me?
Also, when I attempt to compile, I get the error "D:\temp\PI3APro\Marlin\Larlin.ino:44:101: fatal error: U8glib.h: No such file or directory
I assume that I can just find it and change the line to point to the proper file location (if it was there).
Cheers

Re: Firmware for geeetech 3D printers
The difference between the firmware of the two is the Z-axis motor stepping value, you need to upload the firmware via the Arduino 1.0.1 again

Re: Firmware for geeetech 3D printers
Hi All,
Getting to grips with my Pro W and would like to adjust the travel limits following some small modifications...
I see where this is done within the marlin.ino file but I cannot find the marlin file for the latest firmware 1.0.4, only the hex file within easyprint...
can anyone provide it for me?
I have a number of smaller issues I would also like to change such as the rotary dial direction and menu timeouts etc.
thanks in advance,
Tim

Re: Firmware for geeetech 3D printers
Thanks William.
I ended up uninstalling Arduino and running with the very old 1.01 version, copied the u8glib library in manually and it worked. Thanks.
Hopefully we can look forward to a firmware version that supports the newer versions of Arduino soon...

Re: Firmware for geeetech 3D printers
Done. I went back to Arduino 1.0.1, manually copied in the library to the program folder and it worked.
About time you guys consider upgrading though, what do you think? Having to use an old version of Arduino is a pain.

Re: Firmware for geeetech 3D printers
Some guys update their firmware to Marlin 1.1.7 version. Maybe you can try it.

Hello,
My printer is an I3 pro B.
Do you regularly update your marlin, mine is from April 2017?
And is the marlin on the front page the last? diiity

Bonjour,
Mon imprimante est une I3 pro B.
Est ce que vous mettez régulièrement votre marlin à jour, le mien date d'avril 2017?
Et est ce que le marlin qui se trouve en première page est le dernier?
