thanx again but i tried easyprint 3d 1.1.7, updated the firmware in the program but same thing is happening. every time i turn on the printer or connect a usb the motors are struggling to move when i choose "auto home". i have to go to "control->Restore Failsafe" every time i turn on or plug in a usb just to get it to move correctly.

You can change value of the direction of motors and then upload it to the printer

There is an option in my printer: restore default data.
if you have made modifications to the settings, you may want to use it.

Hi

Hope you can Help.
I have the I3 M201 with the GTM32 Pro VB board.
I tried doing the firmware update but now I am getting a blank screen and nothing is working
It does not boot up at all.

What I did was I used "Flashed loader demonstrator" to burn the bootloader and then firmware GTM32_V1.0.5.

after the boot loader it just went blank then I done the Firmware update thinking it would sort out the issue.
But nothing.

Did I damage the board? If not how do I fix this issue and how do I revert back to original state?

Your Help will be appreciated.

You can burn the bootloader at first and then uploading the firmware via the Easyprint 1.1.7

Awesome Thank you.

Last Night I did come right at the End.
Here was the issue.

I used "Flash Loader Demonstrator" to update boot loader which was a ".bin" file.
Then I uploaded the firmware V1.0.5 but this time it was a ".hex" file.
This did not work and corrupted my board as I could not choose the correct settings as instructed in the '"how to" post. (800200 was not available.)

So what I the tried was to get a older version but in ".bin" file which I did and it was version 1.0.3 and done the whole process from the start.
This worked 100% and today I am printing.

Now the issue that I have is that I do not have the latest Firmware on my Prusa I3 M201. (V1.0.5)
The firmware file (V1.0.5) that I have is a ".hex" file. Will EasyPrint 1.1.7 successfully upgrade my printer with the ".hex" file Or do I need to convert this to a .bin file and then update it?

:)
