Did they made a noise while you tried to turn them by hand?nutts wrote:Real Joy !!!!!!!!!
The x motor made a noise and so did z
They did not move but they made a noise !!!!!!!!!!!!
Can you describe this "crazy" behavior?nutts wrote:Bad news the LCD just started going crazy
If you slowly move the x axis to the center as well as the bed you can be sure that you have enought time if the motor starts moving before they slam in the end of the axis...nutts wrote:The motors made the noise when I used the buttons on the program
I think maybe they working against the stops ( the true false settings )
The LCD came good after I pushed the Reset Button
Maybe you connected the right Z Motor to Xnutts wrote:Not such good news
I was using Repetier to move the motors. But the x Axes button was controlling the Z Axes and the Z axes button controls the Z axes also.
So still no movement from Y or X
No the knob does not work. All motors turning freely when power is put to them. And checked wiring all wires are in the right connections but X still controls z Z still controls zappswert wrote:Maybe you connected the right Z Motor to Xnutts wrote:Not such good news

and the left Z Motor to Z Axis
Do the other motors have holding torque / are difficult to turn when powered on?
Can you try to swap the connections of the motors to try if the connection has the issuse or if it's something else?
Swap the directely at the gt2560 to test if the cables to the motors are working.
And I would really like to know if the knob of your printer is working now(Does "does the samething" mean it works or that it doesn't work?)
I have seen that some stepper directions are inversed in the firmware of geeetech (extruder and x-axis). I changed it for my firmware configuration too. Can you try if the new firmware works?nutts wrote:No the knob does not work. All motors turning freely when power is put to them.
