Hello all,

I have a question about the MK8 extruder.
The item description says that the stepper motor runs at 6 Volts. But the problem is that all my other steppers are running on 12 Volts. So i would overload the setepper for the extruder and might damige it. i"m using RAMPS 1.4. Is the best solution to disassemble it and replace it with a 12Volt stepper motor? Or can i might hack RAMPS 1.4. to Let one stepper to run at 6 Volts.

Thanks for any anwsers!

Hi WouterDoornbos!

The MK8 extruder of GEEETECH can be used at 12 Volts. And also the RAMPS 1.4 provide 12V power to the extruder motor.Maybe there's a little mistake in our description.Could you tell me the website of the MK8 extruder? We will fix it as soon as possible. Thanks very much!

Best wishes to you!
