Hi, I am trying hard to start printing with my new Me ducer 3d printer, but It has turn impossible.
This is the issue and the steps I follow:
-I calibrate the bed with accurate precision. All four corners are aligned in height with the extruder, only a sheet of paper can go throught.
-I home all three asis- XYZ. this shows my printer settings: X: 0.00 min, Y: 0.00 min, Z: 138.00 max (I set this height with fine-tuning knob located a the top of the printer - the knob).
-Before printing I make sure the height of Z asis is right. So ,by using the manual control and pressing -10.00mm down , I start moving the Z-asis down to check it reaches 0.00 at the right level in the bed.
-I load a file to print , set slic3r and finally click printing.
- the XYZ display shows X:0.00 , Y: 0.00 , Z: 5.00 and the extruder starts to home all asis before start the printing.
-When The extruder goes down to start printing it goes really fast and hit the printing area fiercely.
- I have to press emergency stop to avoid further damages.

I do not know What I am doing wrong.
I start feeling a bit frustrated, so Hope someone can help me out.
Thanks,

Kind regards,

hi, thanks for your kind reply.

Finally, I could manage to figure out what the problem is.
It does not matter what printer settings I set on repetier, in this case, X: 0.00 min, Y: 0.00 min, Z: 138.00 max, the printer takes control by the programed settings. I mean. It tries to reach 150mm down in Z-asis.
I think It is because It is meant to work without computer via repetier.

Thanks again for trying to help.

Yes, you are right. In our firmware, the max height for z axis is set at 150.
