Which software host to use with i3 Pro C Dual

I'm out of town for work so I'm reading up on 3D printing with my Geeetech i3 Pro C dual for when I get home.
I read about Pronterface and saw a feature that looked interesting. The ability to preview a visual representation of the print layer by layer before sending it to print. This way you can see if there are any potential issues with the print before hand. Does the Repetier software do this also?
Is there any other advantage to using Repetier or Pronterface?
