can't print upper layers

hi,
I have the pursa i3 pro b with GT2560, when printing, the first layer is printing well, the second is OK but then it seems like the extruder is not getting high enough and is touching the layers below and ruining them while trying to print the other layers
the X and Y axis are moving fine and up to scale it seems like there is something wrong with the Z axis

Anybody know how to fix that?

Thanks

what's your layer height? It's usually 0.2mm.

This the first layer, as you can see the extruder is a bit far from the bed this is on purpose because otherwise at the upper layers the extruder is so close to the printed model that it actually moving the model on the bed.

last layer, as you can see at the last layer the extruder is already too close to the model
(hope you can see what I mean)

Whats the temperature and material do you use?
And you can make a mark on the rod, and manually move the Z axis up 10mm, measure the actual distance it moved, compare those two numbers and set a proper number for the Z axis step per mm here(remember to save the memory!):

I use pla with bed: 70C and nozzle: 180

If you use the same printer can you please share the settings of the printer (control) and the settings of slicer?

I've updated the firmware and I think it messed up printers settings.

I will try to play with the Z step settings and update

I measured the z axis travel and it moved exactly 10mm

“bed: 70C and nozzle: 180 ”
The temperature is too low, for PLA is usually 210, you can have a try.

ok so after playing with slicer's settings and set the extruder's temp to 210C now the result is much better!
but now something is weird with the second layer, the seconded layer is messed up time after time
