PSU problem?

I just finished wiring my Prusa I3 X-2. I plugged it in, turned it on and... nothing.
When I turn the power switch to the ON position, the green light on the PSU flashes then goes out immediately. I can hear a quiet, electrical type hum coming from the PSU but no green light and apparently no power to the motherboard and LCD.

I tried unplugging everything from the motherboard to see if there was a short in one of the wires. Turned the power back on, same green flash of the PSU LED and then nothing...

IF I unplug the motherboard from the PSU then turn the power on, the green light on the PSU stays illuminated and I don't hear the hum and appears that the PSU is OK.

Any ideas?

I disconnected everything from the motherboard to see if there was something causing the problem.
Seems that even with everything completely unplugged from the motherboard, except the power, it trips the PSU (causing the green light on the PSU to go out)
With the motherboard disconnected, the green light on the PSU stays lit.

reconnect all the components and post a photo later today if it still helps.

Maybe the problem is with the motherboard?
