its a smart reason, its stops spammers posting useless rubbish.

Its not that hard, posts are reviewed and checked.

Im glad that check and approve

@ syossi2 - I was wondering the same thing. And agree the board would work more efficiently and probably grow.

As a prior webmaster - that's a pretty lame excuse if it were the real reason.
And the difficulty or ease factor has nothing to do with it.

This is the computer age... and via computer you can get pretty much an instant response.
The amount of "spam" they'd get irrelevant and talk about ease - a spam post can be deleted. As well as the account.
The time it takes to review and approve each and every post compared to possible "spam" posts is a pretty significant difference.

It's also one of the biggest complaints by Geeetech printer owners that try and participate in this board.
It's also been remarked about by Geeetech printer owners on other boards and as the number one reason they left this board and/or the reason they don't respond to others postings.

As a matter of fact this is the only board I've ever seen that has an on going never ending post must be approved before posting.
The norm on even some of the largest forums which would be much more prone to "spam" is only at most 3 posts. Usually one. The just want to make sure your not a spam bot...

It's Geeetechs site... but I agree it's definitely not inviting, nor efficient.
Definitely different that's for sure... not my way of doing things but, I'm not running the show here.
