Y-axis weak-Only functioning in one direction!

Hello!
I have recently purchased a
DE Warehouse Acrylic Prusa I3 Drucker 3D printer support 5 filament MK8 DIY LCD
From efind0813 and when trying to configure and allign my printer the y-axis is refusing to move both ways.
The motor works fine in one direction but barely at all on the other. I have
looked around and tried everything i can think of including swapping the motors and nothing seems to help.
I also tried ajusting the voltage which didnt help either and im convinced that my driverboard is faulty. When I
swapped the engines (x with y) the problem was the same on the y-axis with a different motor indicating that
the problem isnt with the stepper motor.
Please let me know how to solve this issue.
Thanks in advance!
Best regards / Salman
