I am having an issue getting my GT2560 to power up via USB and be recognized by my computer. The board seems to run fine when powered by the printer, however the x-axis is moving in the wrong direction so i am trying to update the firmware with the direction reversed. When i plug in via usb there are no LED's going on the board and i cant see anything in the device manager. Have tried several cables and 2 computers.
Does anyone know how to solve this issue?
Thanks

Hi,
First turn on your printer(power the board),then plug in the USB cable.

Depending on your operating system you will have to down load the driver for the usb plug to work with your system. Once it recognizes you usb plugin of the printer it will show up in the software. Find it here for windows systems
http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/CDM/CDM ... tified.exe .. This will get the com you want to run the usb and work off the link to finish your setup
