I Have assembled the printer exactly according to to the instructions from geetech, all firmware is up to date and went smoothly. However, when i hit the home button in repeater host z axis and y axis head to the end-stops while the x axis remains stationary. once the z,y end-stops are hit they still keep trying to move, making an awful noise while x just sits there. Ive been trying to figure this one out for two weeks. any help would be greatly appreciated. I feel like I have put together a really expensive paperweight.

Hi,
Be patient
That's what you may go through if you are gonna play DIY kits.
First check if you have all the endstops correctly connected to your motherboard, and check if they have a good connection.
Then hit the endstops with your hand after you click on "Auto Home" to test if they work properly.
About X motor,i think you'd better check if the belt on X axis is too tight or loose and try swapping a driver A4988 for X motor.

You likely have a problem caused by a bug in the firmware, although you should be seeing one tower at a time homing rather than z and y together so I am not completely sure. In any event, Repetier-Host and other programs as well send the x,y and z flags with the G28 homing command. Delta printers are supposed to ignore those flags and send all the axes home at the same time. The 301 firmware will be changed in the next release to ignore the flags.
The workaround for now is to set a script in Repetier-Host to just send G28. Use this to home instead of the normal button.
