Hello,

I just assembled a Pro C with dual extruders and I cant get them to work properly. On both extruders there is only a tiny bit of platic coming out. I thing its a problem with the tension applied by the stepper to press the filament forward. Cause when I push the filament manually into the extruder, its extruding properly. Is there any workaround for this? I havent changed much yet, havent experimented with the potentiometer on the stepper driver as well yet.

Btw: would it help to use 3mm filament instead of 1.75 ? With regards to tension problem within the plastic extruder?

I don't think the 3mm one filament will work...'Cause the throat tubing on the extruder is for 1.75mm.
And the best option is to replace the plastic part,or you can try fixing it by the following post:

Ok thank you, well I see the problem. I've bought a metal mk8 now, hope that one will work. With that - and able to print - I will build a new feeder for the extruder, then the old one wasnt in vain.

So short update: the metal extruder is working.
With the plastic one, I figured the steppers were going reversed and fixed that in the firmware. But then the fstepper doesnt manage to press the filament into the hot-end, it cant move, if the filament is down into the hot end. It just jumps forth and back. A stepper with more torque could maybe solve this problem already. I of course cleaned the hot end as well and got all the rest plastic out of it but even after that it did not work.

The metal one works, sadly after a short while both teflon tubes broke during installation. They are pretty thin and I didnt handle with care, so be careful .
