Run mixer on Prusa I3 M201

Hello,
I have a Prusa I3 M201 with this Firmware: 14:28:55.999 : FIRMWARE_NAME:STM32_3D V1.1 PROTOCOL_VERSION:V1.0 MACHINE_TYPE:JIETAI-PI3 EXTRUDER_COUNT:1 UUID:00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000 and control board GTM32 Rev. B.
If I print using Repetier-Host, the second extruder motor is used exclusively.
Because I've been having some problems with feed and clogging, I thought I should make sure both extruders are run.
Is there a way I can configure slic3r or curaengine to run both extruders?
EDIT: I was running Firemware 1.0.4. I Upgraded to 1.0.5 and it seemed to work the first print I made but then it reset (got reset by the g-code?)
What actually seems to happen now is that setting mix to 50:50 means first extruder extrudes nothing, while second extruder extrudes 50%.
This leads to bad printing obviously...
