Bl/3D touch sensor setup

Hello,
I recently received the 3D levelling sensor and am now trying to set it up on my Prusa I3 pro B.The first question I haven't been able to answer is: why is there this little resistor included in the package ? where do i include it ? or do I just ignore it ?. but the bigger problem is the software. I made all the changes in the marlin files and tried to upload it to the my GT2560 board. but the code wouldn't compile. it always says: " using typedef-name 'fpos_t' after 'struct' " even when I download the code and just try to compile it without changing anything.
Maybe someone had the same problem, and was able to fix it. Thanks in Advance.
