2.2"TFT LCD - HY-TFT220 Voltage Level?

Hello,

I have a HY-TFT220 laying arround here, but i'm a bit confused.
There is a 5V input on the board, and on this link it looks like the LCD is directley connected to a arduino (5v i think?).
http://www.geeetech.com/wiki/index.php/ ... D#Display:

But the datasheet of the HY-TFT220 says that the operating voltage is 3.3v.

So, my question is: Is there a level converter onboard?, can I just use 5V? or do I use 3.3v for the logic signals?

Thanks in advance,

(Sorry for the bad english)

Hi friend,

This display has a level convertor onboard, you can use 5v from arduino, or short the jumper JP1 to use 3.3V.

Hello,

Thanks for the fast reply! But thats just the power source, wright?
I ment the logical signals. Are they not converted? Or can They just be used at 5v?

Thanks for the support

Yes, that's just the power source. The logic signals don't need to be converted.
