I have run into a problem as my extruder motor just stopped working two days ago.
I had to disassemble the hotend/extruder due to a clogged nozzle, but after putting it back together, the extruder motor didn't spin.
I tested the motor+wires by changing it with the X motor and there the motor was running. The X motor (which was plugged into the port for the extruder) didn't work, so I thought that there was something wrong with the motor driver.
So, after recreating the original motor setup, I changed the X driver with the extruder driver, but still, the extruder didn't work. (The X motor did work)

After a lot of internet "research" and not finding out anything, I have absolutely no Idea what might have caused that to happen, as the disassembly and reassembly of the hotend worked perfectly the other two times.
I appreciate any help

All similar operations should be carried out with the power off. Disconnecting the cables when the printer is powered on (idle) can damage components.

Jup, Always cut the power to the power supply before unplugging anything etc.

1, I think you can check the wirings of hotend including heating wires and thermistor wires, see if there is a shortcircuit.
Also, check the wires extruder motor, maybe they are loose.
2, Re-burn the firmware and press reset button on the motherboard to have a try.
3, If the problem still exists, you can use the second extruder slot as default, change the pin.h and refresh the firmware, here is the reference:
