I would like to know if the control board and/or firmware supports upgrading the A30 to dual extruders/nozzle (2 extruders and 2 nozzles). If not, can I install the GT2560 board and use that?

The functionality of the hardware is mainly determined by the software.

If your motherboard has the right number of stepstick slots, it meets your requirements.

Unfortunately, I do not know the functionality of your firmware.
