I need to replace the Y axis stepper motor, It has been making a grinding noise that keeps getting louder. Vref is correct, belts and pulleys are all ok The stepper motor itself has a bad bearing or gear inside.
It is larger than the other stepper motors on the machine, part number 42shd0430-24b

Is there anywhere I can source one in the USA?

Im also having wicked grinding noise on my a30 y axis.

doesnt happen at all speeds, at F3000 its brutal tho..

im still really surprised Geeetech doesnt carry a manufactures warranty.. only ever get told to contact my seller... which doesnt work for me.

I ordered one direct from geeetech, $20 shipped.
have to wait for shipping from China, however.
