Hello

I had this printer now for about 6 months but only printed like 10 things with it. Today i tryed printing another model via sd card. At first all things seemed normal but after i while i noticed that the printer is not homeing (not moveing at all) The bed and the nozzle are both working but the steppers arent i also tryed moveing them manually over the ui but also there: nothing. Over usb its the same.

I will have to say that i have all the basic electrical knowledge and equippment here to troubleshoot BUT i first wanted to ask here because im really helpless and dont know how a 3d printer works. Also as far as my research goes its not a common problem.

Thanks for evry answer!

Hi,Just and AI
The stepper stop and locked.
It means the printing pause or the printer is wating the gcode command.
Also, the gcode eg:g4 gocde will let the printer waiting a while.
I suggest you check :
1.Z axis raise when retracting (Gcode)
2.Check the PSU inside cooling system work or not
3.Check the Y axis stepper motor overheating or not
Try to adjust the vref of the Y axis A4988 to 0.7V

Hello

What do you mean with the stepper stop and locked?
The psu and the cooling are fine (on the psu evry rail is 24 volts).
The steppers aren't overheating andevry stepper driver is .65 to .7 volts.

Im a bit lost and i wanted to ask if there is a copy of the internal 128mb sd card online aviable to download (just a copy not like a update)

You can refer to this FAQ post then re-update the LCD files.
