Fan placement

So building my M201 and the directions show the fan bolting onto the A1 with a fan cut out behind stepping motor on left side. Well mine doesn't have any cutouts or holes so where do I place fan?

Hi, now the fan mounting hole on the mainframe is removed, and the fan of the main board is moved to the left side of the board. I hope this can help you.

Hi.
This is the old location of the fan.
I do not use it. In my opinion it is unnecessary.
Additionally, it weighs down on this small stabilizer causing additional reason for it to heat up.
And the fan is not able to cool it down.
