Taken a file and done the slice with simplify3d result pauses continue and impossible to continue printing
the same file made with Ultimaker CURA and everything is perfect possible incompatibility of the simplify3d slicer ???
I have done other tests with various files and they do not work well if done with simplify3d while with CURA they work very well

It is recommended to use cura for slicing.
Maybe there is a problem with the gcode in simplify3d, and printing is paused.
