hi all, geeetech say:

X and Z axis 1.1 V - 1.2 V

Y axis 1.35 V

and suggest use TMC2208

This mode need motor rotation invertion with motor tool.

Put big cooling radiator in TMC and motor

After 10min test, vref is too hight, motor burn

i think geeetech dont have tested vref.

The calculed value by myself based from motor value is:

X and Z: 0.7v
Y(not fount real motor irms): work fine with 0.95V no overheating and no loose step @ 60mm/sec max
E1 E2 E3: 1.20v

this calculator give same value of me

hi William

why geeetech give me these values, its verry dangerous!!!!!

it's not professional!

it only took 3 min for my motor cooling radiator to take off !!!!

technicians are idiots ???

I told them it was too high voltage but they confirmed that I should use these values!

X and Z is 1000000% 0,7V maximum (calculed value)

for Y idont know the real irms electric value, the motor description say 1a max but its fake, with 0,7V he loose step, with 1V its to hot, with 0,95v i think is good but maximum speed 55mm/s

for E1, E2, E3 1,1v - 1,2v is good (calculed value 1.2V)

geeetech doesn't have good technicians who really know their job? they only have sorcerer's apprentices who say anything to customers.

it's really not serious.

If an unprofessional user tests these values without paying attention he could set fire to his house !!!

you shouldn't be sorry.

you have to test what you say to customers before.

now i will have to replace the engine of the X which is making noise because it has overheated

i do make a order to website....

I had also problem with overheating and I think one motor is also dead as knocking sound.
I've set X, Z to 0,65V and E0, E1, E2 to 0,65V Y also 0,85V.

I did test print but not 100% ok and very slow. I'm going to run some further tests.

What are you're final Vref settings ?
