A20 Brand New Out Of Box, Total Failure To Print. What Am I Doing Wrong?
Posted: Mon Dec 07, 2020 11:13 am
First of all Hi, Im Jay and new to the forum and world of 3D Printing.
I bought a Geeetech A20 to help with a project that I am working on.
I have unboxed and built the printer, connected all power connectors to the correct sockets, manually adjusted the bed leveling knobs until the nozzle barely grips the sheet of card provided and even installed the pla runout sensor that wasn't mentioned in the instructions.
All well and good so far.
problem is when i try to print the test piece on the memory card provided, my printer makes a grinding noise and prints "wiggly lines" then starts printing pla like crazy and then clogs its head up. The whole time vibrating whilst it works.
The test print i believe is supposed to be a cat.
I have posted a video on youtube (apologies for the awful camerawork) of a failure to print for people to see the issues I'm having as I'm not sure I've done well enough at explaining. I hope the video will give you some insight as I'm at a dead end without a clue of how to proceed.
Please help
