I looked for the firmware in the link you provided, but none seem to match my 3d printer. I did purchase the printer from Geeetech in January 2015. The invoice from Geeetech says:

My first prints on an I3 look like this. It seems the flow from the extruder is not fast enough. I think the extruder motor is stalling. I tried turning up the current to the extruder on the A4988 but this had no effect. What else can I try?
