As I understand this is a modification to the extruder which comes originally with heatsink and fan attached to nozzle side.
Why was it done? To save space?

Hi there,
Today I received Me Creator and noticed that the extruder's fan and heatsink are missing from it's front.
The fan was found behind the extruder attached with plastic wire ties, with no heatsink.
I can reattach it to front, but I'm wondering if that was made on purpose.
