Extruder not heating when connected to Repetier Host
I haven't used my printer for a few months. I tried to do a small print from Repetier Host but the extruder does not heat up and the red LED does not light. If I close Repetier Host the red LED lights up and the extruder heats up.

Communication error - Reset send buffer block
I was 7 hours into an 8 hour print when the printer stopped and the error message "Communication timeout - reset send buffer block" appeared and was repeated rapidly. You've probably already solved this problem. I had the same issue - caused by Repetier Server taking control of the COM port you have been allocated. I uninstalled Repetier Server and the problem disappeared.

My compilation from the forum link completed without any errors. On upload it corrected the X axis direction problem.
