Re: My adventures with Prusa I3 Aluminum
@Flintlocke,
I agree. The original Snaguinololu board worked, but that was about all that could be said for it. Changing the firmware was my first hurdle, as I recall. I was unsuccessful, LOL.
Aside from the cheap extruder and the sub-par Z-axis screw assemblies, it is a solid little printer for ...

Re: Why i'll NEVER buy GEEEtech or Open source product again
I've been involved with open source projects for years - and one this is ALWAYS true - the "product" is always, without a doubt half baked and unfinished, relying on conjecture, heresay, bloody poor documentation and un-managed distributions of software that are riddled with bugs.
Geeetech are no ...

Honestly I have no issues with Z-wobble and the leadscrews, maybe I just got lucky.
The hot-end however, holy hell that MK8 is a load of crap ...

Re: New Sanguinololu board _ Major Z axis moving problem
I think that I've solved the problem ...
I couldn't update the firmware through the Easy Print software ... it just timed out ...
I updated both old and new boards with the original "Arduino-1.0.1-windows" & Sanguinololu firmware ...
It didn't make any difference at all ... the boards have been ...
