Re: I cant hear myself think - Loud Fans

I have an A30 and the power box is very loud. It is coming from the power supply. It sounds like I am walking into as server farm. I would like to find a fix for this too!

Re: A30 constantly rebooting.

Thank you for the suggestions!

Here is a follow up:

I thought that because I was touching the settings using the control box it was causing the random rebooting. I tried printing without adjusting the settings and still got the reboot. What I found is that if I let the machine reboot and cool down ...

Re: A30 constantly rebooting.

Doing some tests.. I did video the reboot and there are no error messages. It just beeps and reboots.

So the additional tests are to see if the rebooting is being caused from me making temperature adjustments or speed adjustments from the control box screen. I think if I just leave the printer ...

Re: A30 constantly rebooting.

Thank you for the reply. Those are some good ideas! I've been sitting next to the printer while it rebooted and don't recall seeing anything on the screen. It just beeps and the screen is white. With that said, I probably wasn't looking close enough and recording a video will be good.

A30 constantly rebooting.

Hello,
I have an A30 and I am having a problem with it constantly rebooting. The reboot seems random and happens at different times when using the same gcode. I run the gcode from the SD card and don't have any wifi. This prevents me from doing any large/long print time projects because I need to ...

Re: Z axis keeps locking up

That is great to hear! I would recommend trying to turn the rod by hand after disconnecting the motor wires. This is to get a feel for how much resistance there is. It should be relatively easy to turn the motors. Like you, I tried running my Z axis all the way up after I made the changes. I found ...

Re: Control Box Rebooting

So, I am back and was never able to resolve the problem.

Is there a single controller board that can be replaced? With the COVID situation I've been printing masks and face shield adapters. I have to babysit the printer though so that means no bulk printing because when the machine randomly resets ...

Re: Z axis keeps locking up

I had a similar problem recently with the Z axis and thought one of my Z axis motors was dying. Turns out (pun) that the coupling that holds the rod to the x carriage was too tight (???) so I loosen it and the printer started working like normal. This didn't happen right away but over time it just ...

Re: Control Box Rebooting

Thank you :) I think it is number 2/ something related to the electronics. I don't use a USB and the gcode is from cura. Maybe there is something in the gcode that is overloading the system? But then it'd probably stop in the same place all the time.

Overall great recommendations. I'll look in to ...
