Re: Access to the x-Axis end stop module
I wasn't going to back them all the way out, but let me ask you this...Are these bolts lefty loosey, righty tighty? I have already run into some that are not and these are tight, I just don't want to strip anything.
thanks for confirmation

Access to the x-Axis end stop module
Need to look at replacing a faulty x-axis end stop switch. It's attached to a module that is in turn attached inside the housing for the motor, the one with the big QR code.
I tried the 4 bolts on the motor, as it looks like they go into the housing on the other side, but man those are tight bolts ...

Re: Found myself with a printer I can't communicate with
I was able to upload the new configuration.h, still had some funny behavior...autohome wasn't effective, it just kept moving +10x and +10Y from it's current position. Tried printing and the head bumped into the other side of the gantry.
I put head in center of all axis, and ran M119...it said

Re: Found myself with a printer I can't communicate with
When you say send gcode M119 do you mean through something like easyprint or repetier? I tried that and looked at the logs but it's pretty undecipherable to me.
if I change configuration.h do I re-upload the whole firmware thing again?

Re: Found myself with a printer I can't communicate with
so I have had nothing running when I try to get the firmware going...but that got me thinking about that it's going through a USB hub, so I turned the other connections off and ran the A10_marlin1.1.8 again..similar errors as before but this caught my attention...

Re: Found myself with a printer I can't communicate with
Thanks for the responce.
I'm using Arduino 1.8.5 and it sees the port, COM 5.
I have used the firmware from the A10 FAQ or posts from vert
A10_marlin1.1.8
Geeetech_A10M_Marlin_1.1.9_Firmware
When I run A10_marlin1.1.8 today that I get this error.
