Re: Hotend will not heat up

Ok, just a heads up and for info of other users of the A10, it turns out my problem was poor wiring/crimping in the hotend connector plug.
This was manifest from the outset with my BLTouch sensor flashing red rather than being a steady red illumination, the problems obviously got worse over time to ...

Hotend will not heat up

Hi, can anyone offer any suggestions as to why my hotend has just stopped heating up?
It first of all started by randomly giving me thermal runaway messages halting the prints, then it just stopped heating up altogether,
I have:-
Checked wiring - all cables have continuity
Checked hotend breakout ...

Rotary encoder switch

Hi all, has anyone else had any issues with the rotary encoder switch on the lcd control panel?
Mine got very stiff to rotate and eventually stopped rotating altogether and also would not depress to confirm item selection in the menu. I pulled the lcd control module and managed to disassemble and ...

Re: A10 Firmware

Hi, thanks for the reply, I see that is in relation to fading an LED. What i'm actually after is the z-fade height which allows the z-axis to gradually stop compensating the print head for an uneven bed after auto level.
If you have any info on that it would be a great help, or on how to code to ...

A10 Firmware

Hi all, I know this topic may seem like it's in the wrong category but bear with me, I have been trying to find a version of the firmware with the correct bed sizing, BL-Touch capability, filament runout sensor & Z-fade option enabled but cannot find any that fulfil all these criteria.
Currently in ...

Re: A10 cooling nozzle

Much better than stock imho, I have also updated the cooler now as well so you have the choice of the original quinjet or the new septajet, both are available on thingiverse from the original link, the septajet is even better than the quinjet!!

A10 cooling nozzle

Hi all, for anyone with an A10 looking for an upgraded part cooling nozzle for the stock radial fan, here is my custom designed part which works superbly. I call it the quinjet and it can be found on thingiverse :-

GT2560 V3 board failure.....

So far i'm not having a lot of luck with the A10, after having the original power supply fail, it now seems that the GT2560 board has failed.
Mid way through a 10hour print the Y-axis decided to stop working and the motor was just vibrating and making a noise like the belt was slipping on the ...
